Local Lifestyle

Leesburg is the county seat of Loudoun County and the town has a very rich history. Federal documents were stored here during the War of 1812, and Leesburg was captured and recaptured several times during the Civil War. Like other communities in Loudoun County, the past few decades have seen Leesburg develop from a rural Piedmont town into a thriving commuter suburb of Washington D.C. Today, this growing town is home to many artists, designers, and tech entrepreneurs. Leesburg retains its traditional country charm while adding many modern shops, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.
